Sharing Warmth Through Art — Doum's Social Contribution Programs
Introducing Doum's social contribution activities, including outreach concerts and free education for underserved communities.
As a social cooperative, one of the values Doum holds most dear is sharing. Delivering the healing and inspiring power of art to those who need it most — that is what Doum’s social contribution programs are all about.
Outreach Concerts
We bring music directly to welfare centers, nursing homes, children’s centers, and other places lacking cultural infrastructure. Professional musicians present concerts tailored to the audience, creating moments of shared connection.
For the elderly, we prepare beloved art songs; for children, lively nursery rhymes and classical pieces; and for multicultural families, music from their home countries. The philosophy of our outreach concerts is to create music that touches people’s hearts.
Arts Education Support for Low-Income Families
We provide free or affordable educational opportunities for young people who cannot access arts education due to financial circumstances. We help children with talent but no opportunities discover their potential.
Community Investment Programs
Through electronic voucher-based community investment programs such as children’s psychological support and youth vision development, we operate arts-mediated psychological and emotional support programs.
The Virtuous Cycle of Sharing
Social contribution is not one-sided giving. The members who participate in volunteer activities also gain new performance experiences and grow by experiencing the social role of the arts firsthand. Doum will continue to create the value of a virtuous cycle where both those who give and those who receive are enriched.
